Due nuovi numeri ammessi al Festival

Sono due solisti di eccellenza: si tratta del giovanissimo giocoliere americano Ty Tojo e dell’acrobata australiano Julian Aldag.

Negli uffici di produzione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” si è ormai ampiamente superata la soglia delle 300 candidature pervenute: la dodicesima edizione del Festival, in scena a Latina dal 14 al 18 Ottobre giudicare dalle nazionalità degli artisti interessati a partecipare, si preannuncia un evento dalla marcata connotazione multiculturale. Cresce, inoltre, di anno in anno la caratura artistica dei numeri ammessi alla competizione come si evince dal profilo dei due artisti appena ammessi alla kermesse.

Ty Tojo è tra i più giovani artisti che abbiano mai partecipato al Festival. Nato negli Stati Uniti a Las Vegas da mamma giapponese, l’artista, oggi dodicenne, presenta a Latina un numero dal titolo “l’incredibile giocoleria”. Ty Tojo sta maturando le sue straordinarie  doti artistiche in una prestigiosa scuola statunitense dove alterna un’ora di allenamento ad un’ora dedicata ai suoi irrinunciabili cartoni animati. Nei 4 anni della sua carriera artistica, Ty Tojo ha già conseguito il titolo di “migliore giovane promessa” nell’ambito di un Festival statunitense di giocoleria. Velocità, versatilità e grande abilità sono le principali caratteristiche della performance mozzafiato di questo enfant prodige.

Julian Aldag, partecipa al Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” in rappresentanza del continente Oceania. Il giovane acrobata australiano festeggia il suo ventiquattresimo compleanno proprio a Latina in occasione della serata inaugurale del Festival. La sua formazione artistica fa seguito ad una decennale esperienza di ginnasta. Al suo attivo Julian può vantare già un “bronzo” conquistato nel occasione di un Festival Internazionale di Circo svoltosi in Russia. Il numero in scena a Latina porta il nome dell’artista che lo porta in pista, “Julian Aldag”: si tratta di un numero di “corda” nel quale alla potenza ed all’energia del movimento fa da contrasto la delicatezza del suono del “duduk”, il flauto di origine armena.

Two new acts added to the Festival

We are pleased to announce the addition of two solo artists: young American juggler Ty Tojo and Australian acrobat Julian Aldag.

Over 300 applications from performers have already arrived in the production office of the International Circus Festival “City of “: the twelfth edition of the Festival, which will take place in from October 14th to October 18th 2010, going on the nationalities of the interested artists, already promises to be a truly multicultural event. The prestige of the artists that are being accepted for the competition is also growing year by year, as can be seen by the latest two acts to be signed up for the show.

Ty Tojo will be one of the youngest performers to have ever taken part in the Festival. Born in and with a Japanese mother, this twelve-year-old artist will be presenting the number ‘Outregeous Juggling’. Ty Tojo is currently honing his extraordinary artistic skills in an American school, where he alternates an hour’s training with an hour of cartoons! In his four-year artistic career, Ty Tojo has already been awarded the title of ‘Best Upcoming Juggler’ in a juggling festival. Speed, versatility and skill are the main characteristics of the breathtaking number that this ‘enfant prodige’ will present at .

Julian Aldag will be representing at the International Circus Festival “City of “. This young acrobat will be celebrating his twenty-fourth birthday on the opening night of the Festival. His artistic skills are the result of ten years of gymnastic training. Julian is already a medal-winner, having gained a Bronze Medal at an International Circus Festival in in 2009. The number he is presenting at bears his own name, ‘Julian Aldag’: this is a vertical rope number in which the strength and energy of his movements contrast with the delicate sounds of the “duduk”, a flute of Aremenian origin.
