E’ ancora la Russia ad impreziosire il cast del Festival
A tre mesi esatti dall’apertura della sua XIII edizione, il Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” inserisce in scaletta due nuovi numeri di acrobatica entrambi provenienti dalla Russia.
A giudicare dalla provenienza delle oltre 400 candidature pervenute finora negli uffici di produzione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina”, la Russia si conferma uno dei Paesi nei quali la tradizione delle arti circensi è più marcata: sono tutti russi gli artisti oggi ammessi ufficialmente alla competizione. In rappresentanza del prestigioso Circo di Stato di Mosca “Bolshoi”, la troupe Vavilov presenterà a Latina due distinti numeri di acrobatica. La serata inaugurale della tredicesima edizione è prevista tra tre mesi esatti, Giovedì 13 Ottobre, alle ore 21, nella cittadella del Festival che sarà allestita nella sede ormai storica di via Rossetti.
“Vaulting Acrobats” è il titolo della performance portata in pista dalla Troupe Vavilov. I sei artisti provenienti dalla Russia, partecipano al Festival in rappresentanza del prestigioso Circo di Stato di Mosca “Bolshoi”. Capitanati da Vladimir Vavilov, già premiato per la sua carriera dal Ministero per la Cultura in Russia, la Troupe Vavilov presenta un numero di “salto in banchina”, una delle discipline dell’acrobatica. L’abilità degli artisti e la spettacolarità della loro esibizione sono sostenuti dalla particolare sinergia che per l’occasione è stata realizzata tra gli acrobati russi ed un gruppo di sei ballerine del “Bolshoi Circus”.
“Acrobats on a swinging platform” è il titolo del secondo numero di “acrobatica aerea” presentato dalla Troupe Vavilov. Ruslan, Andrei, Vasily, Vladimir E. e Alexey, hanno alle spalle una robusta preparazione atletica: i ragazzi di Vladimir Vavilov, infatti, hanno intrapreso la loro carriera artistica soltanto dopo aver concluso gli studi nelle discipline della ginnastica e dello sport, discipline che alcuni di loro hanno praticato anche nelle Forze Armate in Russia. Al centro della pista una grande piattaforma oscillante assegna una particolare dinamica ad una performance carica di una speciale energia.

Exactly three months from the opening of its 13th edition, the International Circus Festival “City of ” adds two new acrobatic numbers to the programme, both hailing from .
Judging by the countries of origin of the over 400 entries that have hereto reached the production offices of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, Russia continues to be one of the countries in which the tradition of Circus arts is the most manifest: all of the performers to be officially added today to the competition are Russian. Representing the prestigious Moscow State Circus “Bolshoi”, the Troupe Vavilov will be presenting two separate acrobatic numbers at . The inaugural evening of the thirteenth Festival will take place in exactly three months’ time, on Thursday, October 13th at 9pm, in the Festival complex which will be set up in the usual location in via Rossetti.
The number performed by the Troupe Vavilov is entitled “Vaulting Acrobats”. The six performers from are taking part in the festival as representatives of the prestigious Moscow State Circus “Bolshoi”. Led by Vladimir Vavilov, an artist who has been recognized by the Russian Ministry of Culture for his artistic merits, the Troupe Vavilov performs a “banquine” number, which is an acrobatic discipline. The skill of the artists and the spectacular nature of their performance are enhanced by the partnership created for the occasion between the Russian acrobats and a group of six dancers from the “Bolshoi Circus”.
“Acrobats on a swinging platform” is the title of the second performance of the Troupe Vavilov, an “aerial acrobatics” number. Ruslan, Andrei, Vladimir E. and Alexey all have a strong athletic background: all of Vladimir Vavilov’s performers took up artistic careers after training in gymnastic disciplines and sports, which some of them perfected whilst serving in the Russian Armed Forces. A swinging platform at the centre of the circus ring provides an extra dynamic to this energetic performance.
