Lingua e cultura russe celebrate in Italia nel 2011
Il 2011 è stato proclamato “Anno della cultura e della lingua italiana in Russia e della cultura e della lingua russa in Italia”. L’evento sarà celebrato anche dal mondo del Circo all’interno della tredicesima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina”.
Le celebrazioni per l’anno della cultura e della lingua russa in Italia sono state inaugurate il 16 febbraio 2011 al Palazzo delle Esposizioni, a Roma, dal Presidente del Consiglio, Silvio Berlusconi e dal Presidente della Federazione russa, Dmitri Medvedev. Finalità dell’iniziativa è la promozione dei patrimoni culturali dei due Paesi sulla scorta di una già lunga e feconda tradizione di scambi di idee e di concrete realizzazioni. Arte, Cinema, Musica, Danza, Teatro, Letteratura, Sport e Spiritualità sono i diversi ambiti nei quali si articola la ricca serie di eventi allestiti e condivisi tra Italia e Russia. Anche il mondo del Circo, forte della sua robusta tradizione in territorio russo, partecipa alle celebrazioni del 2011: in occasione della tredicesima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina”, lo storico Circo di Stato russo “Rosgoscirk” presenta a Latina due straordinari allestimenti: il primo è un numero acrobatico dal titolo “Russian fun” portato in pista dalla Troupe Chernievsky il numero è caratterizzato da coreografie, musiche e costumi tipici della tradizione circense russa. La seconda esibizione, invece, è portata in pista dalla Troupe Markins: nella loro performance acrobatica i Markins rendono omaggio all’Italia evocando atmosfere care al grande Maestro Federico Fellini. Ufficialmente avviata, per l’occasione, la procedura per rivolgere al Ministro della Cultura della Federazione Russa, M. Alexander Avdeev, l’invito a presenziare alla serata di Gala e di premiazione del Festival.

Celebration of Russian language and culture in in 2011
2011 has been proclaimed “Year of Italian language and culture in and of Russian language and culture in ”. This event will also be celebrated in the Circus world within the thirteenth edition of the International Circus Festival “City of ”
The celebrations for the year of Russian language and culture in were inaugurated on February 16th, 2011 at the ‘Palazzo delle Esposizioni’ in , by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and by the President of the , Dmitri Medvedev. The aim of the initiative is to promote the cultural heritage of both countries, drawing from the long and fruitful tradition of the exchange of ideas, and of firm achievements. Art, Cinema, Music, Dance, Theatre, Literature, Sport and Spirituality are the different areas in which a rich series of events will take place and be shared by and . The world of the Circus, with its strong tradition within Russian territory, will also be taking part in the 2011 celebrations: during the thirteenth edition of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, the historic Russian State Circus “Rosgoscirk” will present two spectacular acts: the first one is an acrobatic number entitled “Russian Fun”, performed by the Troupe Chernievsky. The number is characterized by choreography, music and costumes typical of the Russian Circus tradition. The second act will be presented by the Troupe Markins: their acrobatic number is dedicated to in the form of a tribute to the great director, Federico Fellini. In keeping with the occasion, an invitation to the Gala and Awards Evening of the Festival has been extended to the Minister of Culture of the , Mr. Alexander Avdeev.
