Riflettori accesi sulla pista dell’XI edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina”. Fabio Montico, presidente dell’Associazione Culturale “Giulio Montico”, sarà in Russia dal 2 al 12 marzo per visionare gli artisti che andranno a formare il cartellone degli spettacoli del Festival

On the ring of the 11^th International Circus Festival “City of ” some lights have already been turned on. Fabio Montico, President of the Cultural Association “Giulio Montico”, will be in from the 2^nd to the 12^th of March to select artists who can participate in this year’s Festival.

, February, 27^th,2009. Eight months prior to the beginning of the 11^th International Circus Festival “City of “, in program from the 15^th to the 19^th of October 2009, there is already a reflector that shines and lights up the Festival ring. The level reached by the Festival during these years assigns honours but also burdens to the organizers: not to betray the expectations of the public, to propose always a high quality show, to strengthen the collateral activities in order to involve always more people among the cultural and show aspects of the Festival. These purposes don’t allow the organizers to take a break, in fact the Directors have already started travelling to the most important circus events around Europe (such as Paris, Monte Carlo and Valencia) in order to start the selection of the best acts available for the Latina Festival. It is in that a dialogue with some great Columbian artists started and, if everything goes as expected, they will be in next October. Despite of that, the selection tournee is not over because Fabio Montico, President of the Cultural Association “Giulio Montico” and producer of the International Circus Festival “City of ” is going to , too. From the 2^nd to the 9^th of March Fabio Montico will be in ( of – ) as Member of the Jury presided by Mstislav Zapashny in occasion of the II International Circus Festival of Izhevsk. Among the artists in competition there will be Elayne Kramer, verticalist and winner of the “Latina of Silver” at the 7^th International Circus Festival “City of ” in 2005, the Curatola Brothers, Italian verticalists, and the famous, amazing clown David Larible. After the Izhevsk Festival, Fabio Montico will be in Moscow, from the 10^th to the 12^th of March, where he has been invited by the Great Moscow State Circus “Bolshoi Circus” Festival whose Director is Mr. Leonid Kostyuk. Fabio Montico, together with other important circus personalities, will assign the awards to the winners of the Golden Buffoon show. In both Festivals, Iszhevsk and , special awards “City of ” will be given in order to spread worldwide the name of as the “”.
