Il più famoso ventriloquo al mondo, Willer Nicolodi, “special guest” al Festival Internazionale del Circo.
Il cast della dodicesima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” si impreziosisce oggi con un nome celeberrimo del mondo del Circo internazionale e dello spettacolo dal vivo: in qualità di ospite d’onore del Festival giungerà a Latina il re indiscusso dei ventriloqui di tutto il mondo: lo straordinario Willer Nicolodi.
Come ogni anno, negli uffici di Produzione del Festival, si è lavorato alacremente per individuare il nominativo di un artista di fama mondiale da inserire nel cast di tutti gli spettacoli. La riserva è stata sciolta giusto oggi: il Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” ospiterà il leggendario ventriloquo Willer Nicolodi. A lui saranno riservati gli onori che la pista del Festival tributa ai suoi ospiti più celebri.
Nato a Valladolid (Spagna) nel 1959, Willer Nicolodi appartiene ad un’antica famiglia italiana impegnata da sette generazioni nel mondo del Circo e dello spettacolo dal vivo. All’età di 10 anni Willer intraprese la propria carriera artistica come acrobata nel Circo Knie in Svizzera dove, successivamente, prese ad esibirsi in trio con i fratelli Alex e Ben. Dopo una folgorante carriera che lo ha visto protagonista nei più importanti circhi d’Europa, meritando i più prestigiosi premi nei massimi a livello mondiale, Willer Nicolodi, nel abbandonato le discipline acrobatiche per sperimentare quell’arte che oggi ne ha consacrato il talento in tutto il mondo: il ventriloquismo. Si tratta della tecnica che fa attribuire la propria voce ad un’altra persona, un fenomeno conosciuto fin dall’antichità e a lungo utilizzato dagli oracoli, prima ancora che dagli intrattenitori. Willer Nicolodi nella sua performance unisce le suggestioni tipiche del ventriloquismo ad una vis comica del tutto straordinaria. Al pubblico del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” il privilegio di assistere dal vivo ad un estratto del “one man show” con il quale Willer Nicolodi si è già esibito davanti a spettatori speciali come Jerry Lewis e Paul Newman.

World-famous ventriloquist Willer Nicolodi to be special guest at the International Circus Festival.
A celebrated name from the world circus and live performing arts scenes will further enrich the cast of the International Circus Festival “City of “: the extraordinarily talented Willer Nicolodi, indisputable King of Ventriloquists, will be Guest of Honour at the upcoming Festival.
Each year the production team of the Festival works hard to ensure the presence of a world-famous performer to add to the cast of the International Circus Festival as a special guest performer in each and every performance during the Festival. Today we can proudly announce that the International Circus Festival “City of ” will have the honour of presenting the legendary ventriloquist Willer Nicolodi, who will be performing in the shows as Guest of Honour.
Born in , in 1959, Willer Nicolodi is a member of an Italian family of seven generations of circus performers and live performance artists. He began his artistic career at ten years of age as an acrobat in the Circus Knie in , and in the following years performed in a trio with his and Ben. After a splendid career which saw him perform in the most important European Circuses and gain numerous awards on an international level, in 1998 Willer Nicolodi gave up acrobatics to embark on the art for which he is famous and renowned all over the world: ventriloquism. A technique in which the performer projects his voice, so that it appears to emanate from another person or object. Ventriloquism is an art that was also frequently used in antiquity by the oracles and priests, long before it evolved into a performing art. In Willer Nicolodi’s act his ventriloquism skills are masterly and effortlessly mixed with irresistible comedy that often involves the audience. The public attending the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” will have the privilege and the pleasure of seeing Willer Nicolodi’s One-Man Show live, a world class act which has already been seen live by such illustrious names as Jerry Lewis and Paul Newman.
